Halifax, Nova Scotia

Left for the airport at 5:00 AM to catch our 7:00 AM flight to New York's JFK.  Our connecting flight left at 11:40 AM and we arrived in Halifax at 2:30 PM.  Both flights on time!

It was an hour ride from the airport to our hotel - bus fare was $5.50 Canadian vs. $40-$60 Canadian via taxi.

Checked in and before we went to our room, we had coffee and tea in the lobby

We have a tiny room, very clean

Walked to Henry's House for dinner, just up the street

Mare had Shepard's Pie 

I had haddock with vegetables and rice

After dinner we walked down to the harbor

Stopped to watched a huge cruise ship leaving port

And then it was gone - foggy out there

We'll finish the harbor walk tomorrow.  Don't think we will be taking the harbor cruise -

We're Back!

Not really - we're off to Canada.

Leaving for Nova Scotia tomorrow, June 28, 2016.  Moving on to Newfoundland on July 15, 2016.

Main attractions will include the Bay of Fundy Tides, Prince Edward Island, Whale Watching, Puffin, and Gros Morne National Park.
