Wolfville

Terrific breakfast at our B&B - Eggs Florentine, Toast, Canadian Bacon, Potatoes, Fresh Fruit, Juice, Tea and Coffee.

A day spent enjoying high and low tides.

Then we set off for our 8 - 10 mile Cape Split hike.  Took us an hour to drive to the trail head.  We stopped at Scots Bay to get pictures at high tide.  This is a good spot to see the vertical distance between hi and low tide - these pictures were taken about 10:30 (high tide)

Back to our Cape Split Hike.  We arrived at the mid point between high and low tides. You can see the water swirling with the tide flowing out of Minas Bay.

Tomorrow we're off to Truro.  We will stop at Grand Pre, a World Heritage Site, on our way out of Wolfville.

Halifax to Wolfville

I'm Another foggy start in Halifax - the Dartmouth Ferry

Picked up the rental car, checked out of the Waverley Inn and set off for Wolfville

Wolfville - checked into the Stella Rose B and B and headed off to lunch at the Rolled Oat

Then off to look at the tide - low tide at Wolfville

Then we went to a local vineyard - looked around didn't buy

On the way back we went to Evangeline Beach - amazing tide - the mud flats - low tide

Then the tide began coming in

Back to Wolfville to see tide coming in - just beginning

We came back a couple of hours later

Our room has a wine refrigerator so we had to make use of it
