South Rim Of the Grand Canyon - August 16

Tomorrow, Marilyn and I are walking down to the Colorado River for a one night stay at Phantom Ranch.   We will hike back up on Friday.  Arlene is staying in cabin at the rim.  

Farmington, NM to South Rim Grand Canyon - August 15

Leisurely start to the day, breakfast at hotel and then a quick stop at Starbucks.

Stopped for lunch in Tuba City, our old favorite for Navajo Tacos was long gone, so we dined at the Hogan.  Excellent mutton stew and so so Navajo Taco.

And then we checked into our adjoining cabins, Arlene's home for next 4 days and Marilyn's and mine for 2 nights.  The entry to Arlene's cabin, our's around to the left.

And we saw California condors gliding over the canyon.
